Joan was a friend for over 60 years. With Bernard we shared many happy times over the years and for those memories one is hugely grateful. Faced with ever worsening Parkinson's Joan showed remarkable fortitude and she would be first to acknowledge that in this Bernard's devoted care was paramount.
